Because every once in awhile someone will post an ad selling cheap skateboard parts or accessories. Most of these items are below retail price and if you don't mind riding used or barely used stuff your going save lots of $. I've bought a few things in the past from Craigslist, such as wheels and trucks. My greatest find was a barely ridden skateboard for $20. It came with an Underworld deck, Gold wheels, Venture trucks, and Mini-logo bearings. Not bad for $20.
